General Configuration Guide for Tweaknews Access

To access Tweaknews, use the following settings in your newsreader:

Login Credentials

• Username: Your Tweaknews username

• Password: Your Tweaknews password

Both credentials are required for access. They can be found in your welcome email and your username can be found by logging into the Tweaknews Member dashboard. If you don't remember your password, you can reset it easily by following our step-by-step guide.

Server Addresses

Use the server address that matches your preferred connection method:

• Main Server: news.tweaknews.eu

• Alternative Server: tweaknews.eu

SSL and Non-SSL Ports

To maintain security, it is recommended to connect via SSL. Below are the available ports:

• SSL Ports: 563, 443

• Non-SSL Ports: 119, 80, 23, 53

Connections

Tweaknews supports up to 60 simultaneous connections.

Article Retention

Tweaknews provides full article retention across all supported newsgroups. Make sure your newsreader is configured to search or access within the full article retention range to maximize access.
